I too support these routes. The fact that they are generally in the vicinity of other existing climbs means that there won’t be any additional resource impacts & they should be approved.

I support both of the routes under review. Pretty cool to see this process work with such a large climbing community as Boulder!

This is an ideal opportunity for our local community to have perhaps its hardest route yet developed by a respectful and experienced steward of the Flatirons. Judging by the quality of ‘Choose Life,’ I suspect that Americana would prove to be a very fruitful effort.

I strongly support application for the Honey Badger, looks like a great addition and I know both applicants will do a great job developing this new route.

It is awesome that the wheel has turned and that this route is now available again. Chip Ruckgrabber should get the credit for discovering this line. He talked Colin and I into going up there with him. And tufa was exactly how Chip described the feature. That was the day the old anchor went in. It looked so hard back to us in ’89 that Colin didn’t bother drilling any bolts below the anchor. It was only a week or two later that the bolting moratorium went in. Way to go getting after the best looking pitch in The Flatirons!

No reason not to do this as
1) The additional part of the line does not encroach on other lines.
2) The shared part of the line is on a route of similar character and will not diminish the existing climb.
