FCC Board

The Flatirons Climbing Council Board of Directors establishes organizational policy, ensures that our mission is fulfilled, and selects members to serve on the FHRC. The board is made up of eight volunteers who represent the four member organizations (Access Fund, Colorado Mountain Club, American Alpine Club, and the Action Committee for Eldorado) and the general climbing community.

Our Purpose

The Flatirons Climbing Council is a partnership between the Access Fund, American Alpine Club, Colorado Mountain Club and the Action Committee for Eldorado. Collectively these organizations represent the climbing interest of their 27,000 members and climbers everywhere. The FCC was formed to preserve access in the Flatirons, conserve climbing resources and the environment, and to work cooperatively with the land managers, City of Boulder Open Space and Mountain Parks (OSMP), to resolve climbing issues.
